How to make a bill of supply?
First, let's start by finding out who should make a bill of supply:
You need to issue a bill of supply in any of these cases:
- If you are a registered supplier of exempted goods or services
- You have opted to pay GST under the composition scheme
Cases when a Bill of Supply will not be issued
- If the value of the supply is less than Rs. 200 (unless the receiver wants the bill of supply)
- The recipient is not a registered person AND the recipient does not require a bill of supply
However, a consolidated bill of supply for such supplies should be issued at the end of the business day.
How to make a bill of supply in Sleek Bill?
In your Dashboard, go to Invoices and click on "+NEW".
In the new window, create the bill of supply by adding: client details, invoice number, payment terms, items with HSN code, quantity, price or discount.
Include any shipping charges or transport labels, add any terms and conditions and click on "Preview & Save".
Your bill of supply will look similar to the one below. You can save it as a PDF file, print it or send it by email to your customer.
